Cathy Pacific has revealed that it is adding another 31,500 seats between London and Hong Kong for the final two months of 2022. This is the latest in their goal to rebuild their long-haul network. This is due to the fact that the load factor on this particular route reached 96% in September. This is said to be boosted by UK-bound student traffic.
They have been gradually rebuilding their European network since the easing of restrictions and the end of mandatory hotel quarantines in late September.
They have also resumed their Madrid and Milan to Hong Kong services.
They have stated, “We will continue to add more flights in the coming months. In addition to the flight sectors previously scheduled for November and December, we will be adding close to 700 and 1,200 sectors, respectively. This will add more than half a million seats for passengers to choose from.”
